Meet the Public Scheme
Purposes as follows:
1. to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
2. to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
3. to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.
“Meet the Public Scheme” will start from 24 January 2024 (Note 1) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Wednesday at the District Council office [Address: 21/F, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai]. DC members will be on duty in pairs.

Note 1: “Meet the Public Scheme” will be rescheduled to every Thursday to be conducted at the same time and venue with effect from 1 January 2025.
