Meet the Public Scheme

Purposes as follows:

  1. to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
  2. to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
  3. to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.


 
Starting from February 2025, “Meet the Public Scheme” will be conducted on every Monday (unless otherwise stated) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DC office (Address: 20/F., Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong) and Tung Chung Community Hall (Address: G/F, Tung Chung Municipal Services Building, 39 Man Tung Road, Tung Chung).  DC members will be on duty at the aforesaid two locations.
